Colostrum is the first milk-like substance expressed from the mammary glands after birth.

Bovine or cow colostrum is similar to human colostrum and is full of easy to digest nutrients, antibodies and IgG - type immunoglobulins which support and activate the immune system to combat a host of bacterial and fungal infections. Colostrum does not compromise the good bacteria however and is a good probiotic. 

It has an abundance of Transfer Factors or TFs which modulate or educate the immune system to recognize pathogens and antigens thereby improving the immune efficiency.
